Noochie Varner was born and raised in Cynthiana, Kentucky where he played high school baseball at Harrison County High School. Noochie was part of 2 State Championship titles and was named MVP of the 1998 State Baseball Tournament. He then received a scholarship to play baseball at St Catharine College in Springfield Ky. where he was a pre season All American. In his freshman season he batted .524 with 15 Homeruns, 72 RBI, and 87 hits. This earned him NJCAA All Region & NJCAA All American honors. After his freshman season, he was selected in the 10th round of 2000 MLB draft by the Cincinnati Reds. After signing with the Reds, his lifelong dream of playing professional baseball was fulfilled.

Noochie started his pro career in Billings, Montana, the rookie ball affiliate of the Reds. In the Pioneer League, in 2001, he batted .351 and led the league with 102 hits. He was named to the Pioneer League Post-Season All-Star team. The following year he was promoted to Dayton, Ohio in the Low A Midwest League where he played in his first All-Star game. At the end of that season he was traded to the Detroit Tigers in the Brian Moehler trade. After just 44 games in the AA Eastern League in 2003, where he batted .303, he was traded again. This time it was to the Milwaukee Brewers where he finished the season in the AA Southern League in Huntsville, Alabama. In the off season of 2003 he was involved in a huge trade that would send him to the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. In 2004, between AA and AAA he batted .323 in 458 at bats. 2005 was his last season with the Diamondbacks where he played in Knoxville, Tennessee. After becoming a free agent in 2006 he signed a free agent contract with the Reds. With teammates Joey Votto, Ryan Hannigan, and Homer Bailey he played for the Chattanooga Lookouts in the AA Southern League. Noochie was chosen to play in the Southern League All Star game where he hit his first All Star Game homerun. In 2007, he finished is career with the Houston Astros AA affiliate in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was chosen to play in the Texas League All Star game where he was 3 for 4 and runner up in the Homerun Derby. In 3019 professional at bats he played in 831 games, collected 903 total hits which lead to a .299 career batting average.

It's safe to say that Noochie's expertise is hitting a baseball. That is his passion and he is very excited to share the priceless knowledge and information with today's youth.
